Inspire Professional Solutions. Always Inspiring More!

We know you have a busy life. That’s why our Phlebotomy and MAA courses only meet in person once a week. You get the high-quality training you need without it taking over your entire life.
Our hybrid format lets you study the basics at home on your own schedule. When you come to our lab for your weekly session, we spend every minute focused on the hands-on practice that builds your skills.
You're learning from professionals who are active in hospitals and medical offices right now. They bring real-world experience and a passion for teaching to every lesson.
We keep our class sizes small on purpose. This ensures you get the one-on-one attention you deserve, making sure you never feel lost or left behind during your training.
Everything we do is designed to get you ready for the real world. From our hand-crafted books to our supervised lab sessions, we focus on the exact skills that build your professional confidence.
This program does not automatically include national certification such as NCCT or NHA.
It provides the training and foundational skills needed to pursue national certification if you choose to continue that path.
Many students go on to take a certification exam after completing this course. However, certification requirements vary by exam, employer, and state. This course does not guarantee certification or employment.
You must be 18 years or older to take Inspire's Phlebotomy Course.
Yes — in many cases, especially in Louisiana and surrounding areas. This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level phlebotomy positions in labs, clinics, plasma centers, and more.
That said, you must be hirable — which means having a professional attitude, good communication skills, and a strong work ethic in addition to your training. We teach the skills, you show up ready to grow.
Great question! While the exact number can vary by class size and individual progress, students are required to demonstrate competency in venipuncture and capillary techniques under instructor supervision.
Training includes practice on venipuncture pads at home and live practice in a supervised classroom setting. The focus is on quality, safety, and technique, not rushing to meet a number.
The hybrid model is designed to be flexible and effective for your personal schedule. You’ll complete your lecture-style lessons online working at your own pace, from home, within the 4 week time frame.
Then you’ll attend in-person lab sessions once a week for the next 4 weeks, where we focus 100% on hands-on practice, skills mastery, and live Instructor feedback.
Actually, it means more hands-on time where it really matters.
Because you complete your reading, lectures and foundational learning online, we get to use all of our in-person time for drawing, identifying veins, handling tools, and practicing techniques.
No long lectures or wasted time, just pure practice with instructor guidance.
The program runs for approximately 8 weeks, with online learning first and in-person practical sessions toward the end of the course.
The total program includes 19 contact hours, which is the maximum allowed under Louisiana Board of Regents–Exempt training guidelines.
Inspire Professional Solutions operates as a Louisiana Board of Regents–Exempt training program.
This means we are legally permitted to offer this training without state academic licensure. We are not a college, do not award degrees, and are not accredited by a regional or national academic accrediting body.
Yes. During in-person practical sessions, students perform venipuncture techniques under direct instructor supervision.
Students must successfully complete a competency draw to earn a Certificate of Completion.
Externships are limited and not guaranteed.
A small number of externship opportunities may be available to students who demonstrate strong technical skills, professionalism, and a clear commitment to continuing in the phlebotomy field.
All externship decisions are based on readiness, performance, and availability. Not all students will qualify for or require an externship to continue their professional path.
Inspire does not place students in jobs or find employment on their behalf.
However, we do support students by:
--Sharing job leads when we become aware of openings that match a student’s skill level
--Providing letters of recommendation when earned
--Assisting with resume wording related to phlebotomy training and competencies
Ultimately, employment decisions are made by employers. While technical skill is important, poise, communication, reliability, and professional attitude play a major role in being hired.
Students must maintain an 80% average in the online portion to advance to hands-on training.
Practical assessments include one free retest. If competency is not met, required remediation may be necessary. Full details are provided in the course syllabus.
$150 Registration fees are not refundable under any circumstance.
Once online course access is opened, no Tuitions or Registration refunds are issued.
Students are encouraged to review the syllabus carefully and ensure they can commit to the program schedule before enrolling.
The program includes 19 required contact hours, but most students should expect to spend additional time each week reviewing material, completing assignments, and practicing techniques.
On average:
--Online portion: 3–6 hours per week
--Practice & review: 2–4 hours per week
Students who keep up weekly tend to feel confident going into practicals. Those who fall behind often feel rushed at the end. Time commitment can vary, but consistency matters more than cramming.
While a computer or tablet is recommended due to screen viewing size, it is definitely not required. You can use a smart phone, tablet or computer.
You will need the ability to take photos or videos of your phlebotomy practice pad sticks and will also need to be able to view videos on your device. We have had some students use computers that the library provides access to to take their classes. Use what works for you!
